Once upon a time there was a village of 2,500 inhabitants, perched above the Rhône, in the heart of Provence. A village like many others, not particularly pretty, with a ruined castle and vineyards all around. village without particular character and yet famous throughout the world: Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
